In the H₂ lab you can actively familiarise yourself with the hydrogen cycle – from energy production and the production of hydrogen to the use of hydrogen.

Experiment 1 | Energy production

Use the power of the wind to produce energy regeneratively.

Experiment 2 | Electrolysis

Using the energy generated in Experiment 1, produce hydrogen in a remote-controlled electrolyser –  in real time at the Deutsches Museum, Munich.

Experiment 3 | Use

Using the liquefied hydrogen from Experiment 2, drive as far as you can in a simulation. Secure your place in the list of top performers.

In order to conduct the experiments, you need a Java 1.1 compatible web browser. You will need to register for each experiment with your initials and a freely selected password. Once you have chosen a password, you can use this for one hour to access the other experiments. You have two minutes for each individual experiment.
